About the event
In September 2024, the Institute of Special Needs and Inclusive Education at The Education University of Hong Kong received funding support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust under the Jockey Club Inclusive Learning and Practice Initiative. With this support, the Institute continues to operate the Jockey Club Academy for Special Educational Needs Youth.
The Academy provides a three-year learning programme on the university campus for school leavers with Special Educational Needs (SEN). In addition, training programmes are offered to parents and caregivers to facilitate experience sharing, foster community networks, and promote mutual support and resource sharing.
